Mukdahan being multi-ethnic, you'll find there Thai food, Lao food, Vietnamese food and a combination of the three, that I call here Isaan food, but which is in fact, Mukdahan food .  I just show here what I like most and the places where you can find it.

Mukdahan étant peuplé d'habitants de différentes origines, vous y trouvez de la nourriture Thailandaise, Vietnamienne, Laotiene et une combinasion des trois que j'appelles la nourriture d'Isaan, mais qui est en fait la nourriture de Mukdahan.

The breakfast, baht 25, noodle soup with pork, egg, spices

And one of my favourite, Mekong fish barbecued with salt on its skin. Served with spices, rice noodles, mint leaves and salad

Et un de mes plats favoris, un poisson du Mékong cuit au barbecue avec du gros sel sur la peau. Sevri avec des nouilles de riz, des feuilles de menthe, des épices et de la salade.

And the fish can not be fresher, coming from the fish farm in the Mekong, only a few meters away

For dinner, we'll go for meat in one of the dowtown Mukdahan restaurant

Beef (or pork, or fish, or seafood) that you cook in a pot of boiling water with vegetables
