It seems Khun Abhisit is very keen to use new means for promoting himself and Thailand, he is on twitter PM_Abhisit and on Facebook Abhisit Vejajiva and there is also a new website about Thailand that he is said to have promoted: I love Thailand

And now there is a new Facebook account ThaiShiningThru which ,according to what is written there, is an official government source, The Advisory Board on Building National Confidence and Image, for interested investors to look for new opportunities in Thailand.

All these efforts to build a positive presence on the internet are laudable but I would suggest to also have a look on some Thai laws that restrict foreign investment like the one on land ownership, for example. Promoting Thailand through acts, and not only words, made in favour of foreign investment would greatly help in attracting investors IMHO.
