The 3 southern provinces of Thailand, Yala, Pattani and Narathiwat have been pretty restless for the last 5 years. With people dying almost on a daily basis.

This last week end, one thousand monks from Thailand, Laos and Vietnam came to Mukdahan to pray for them. And ask for food for the people there. A very impressive sight, by any standards. I was not there but my wife was and took quite a few pictures.
